The Barn

Located just a short walk to the back of the property, The Barn is our designated communal gathering spot—a spacious lounge designed for everyone to enjoy. It serves as the perfect "living room" away from your room, offering a relaxed environment where you can unwind, socialize with other travelers, or simply enjoy a change of scenery.


Inside, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere anchored by comfortable oversized furniture perfect for lounging. It’s fully stocked for entertainment, featuring a large TV for catching the big game, alongside a dartboard and bumper pool table that are perfect for sparking friendly competition or breaking the ice with fellow guests. Whether you are looking for a spacious hangout to escape a rainy afternoon or a vibrant spot to end your evening, The Barn is open and ready for you.

Hermann, Missouri

Visiting Hermann, Missouri is like stepping back in time. Located in the scenic Missouri River Valley, Hermann's picturesque brick cottages, rolling hills, and sweeping views of the Missouri River make it a vacationer's paradise.

Hermann is close to the center of the Missouri Rhineland. The nature of the soil makes the area an excellent location for viticulture. As a result, in Hermann and the surrounding area, you can enjoy visiting a number of world-famous wineries, including Stone Hill Winery, Hermannhof Winery, and Adam Puchta Winery.

A visit to Hermann wouldn't be complete without a hike along the Katy Trail in Katy Trail State Park. Built along an abandoned railroad track, Katy Trail twists and turns through some of Missouri's most beautiful landscapes.

Built in 1864 by a well-known wine maker and newly renovated in 2021, Murphy's is a unique Federal style home, located in the heart of historic Hermann, Missouri. Our exclusive guest suites offer travelers a quiet hideaway, with private baths, and access to our beautiful outdoor deck and relaxing patio.

We are close to many of Hermann's unique attractions. We are walking distance to the lovely Riverfront Park on the banks of the Missouri River. We're also a short distance from the Hermann Wine Trail and many of Hermann's world-famous wineries and restaurants.  We even have a secure place to store bicycles for those wanting to explore the famous Katy Trail.
