We try to be flexible and understanding, please call if you have questions or need an exception to our policies.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION:
You will be required to make your reservation with a credit/debit card with 100% of reservation will be charged. If any damages occur to room or linens during your stay, you will be charged with your reservation credit/debit card number. We have this in place only for times when our rooms are abused. Your acceptance of these charges constitutes an agreement to our policies and serves as a legally binding contract. Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to your arrival date are refundable, minus a $50.00 processing fee, as we understand things in life happen. Cancellations within 59-30 days before the reservation will be charged 50% of the cost of stay OR receive a full credit for up to one year. Cancellations 29-1 days before reservation may not receive any refund but will receive a credit available for up to one year. Changes of reservation date or early departures are treated as cancellations and will carry the same policy stated above.
SUITE AMENITIES:
All suites are supplied with a hair dryer, travel-size toiletries, towels, tableware, glasses and other items. All suites have a Keurig coffee maker, pods, cream/sugar, yogurt, frozen breakfast items, breakfast bars and other snacks, bottled water and juices. Other beverages are also available in the patio refrigerator. All items on property are complementary for all guests.
GROUP POLICY:
Groups renting more than one room are encouraged, Murphy’s is an excellent place for couples, families or friends to stay. We can allow your rooms to have access to each other but still have privacy as well. Cancellation policy is the same as stated above.
CONDITION OF ROOM:
We hope you will treat our home as you would your own. Any damages to the room, including but not limited to furniture, bedding, electronics or other items in the room will be charged at the replacement cost. Extra cleaning fees will also be charged for guests who become sick in the room/bathroom outside of a medical emergency. Please contact us immediately if you become ill. We know these things happen but it is important we clean as soon as possible to keep any extra charges to a minimum. Also know that with the new Covid guidelines, any bodily fluids or issues related to possible cross-contamination will incur a minimum $100 charge. After that, fees will be charged $45 per hour until the issue is remedied.
CHILDREN:
While children are allowed, we do not offer sleeping amenities, such as cribs, but you are welcome to bring your own.
PETS:
No pets are allowed with the exception of full house rental. Please call and we can assist you with boarding for your furry friends.
SMOKING:
Smoking on the property is NOT permitted. There is a minimum $250 cleaning charge for violating the no smoking policy.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT:
We offer self check in after 3 p.m. for all suites. You will be notified if early check in is availalbe for your suite. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 7 p.m.just to be sure we have lights on in your suite. Check-out time is 11 am - no exceptions.
Guests arriving by Amtrak or biking on the Katy Trail are welcome to drop off their bags early and, when possible, we will have their rooms waiting for their arrival. Please notify us by phone or email of your arrival time.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES:
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. All gift certificates have a one year expiration date and are not valid during Maifest (third Saturday in May) or the month of October. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
